Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, the storylines have been revolving around RHOP OG Karen Huger wrecking her car prior to the season and being charged with drinking and driving charges. Karen Huger has been staying away from alcohol while her Housewife buddies badger her about her looming court date and whether she needs professional help with her drinking alleged problem. It’s being reported that Karen Huger has got her day in court and guilty is the case that they gave her.
61 year old Karen Huger, was found guilty Wednesday of five out of six charges stemming from a March car crash in Potomac, Maryland, including the lead charge of driving under the influence (DUI). The jury convicted Huger of DUI, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision, and failure to notify authorities of an address change. She was acquitted of reckless driving. Karen Huger’s sentencing in January will determine whether she faces jail time or other penalties for the convictions.
The Real Housewives of Potomac star’s attorney, A. Scott Bolden, tells PEOPLE exclusively in a statement:
“Although we are disappointed in the jury’s verdict, we of course respect their decision and appreciate their time hearing our case,”
