Alleged Details Of Rich Homie Quan’s Death Released

Dequantes Devontay Lamar better known as Atlanta rapper Rich Homie Quan passed away almost a week ago at the young age of 34 years old in his Atlanta, Georgia, home, sending shockwaves around the Hip Hop world.  Although no cause of death was given when the news broke, a  spokesperson from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office said an autopsy has been scheduled for last Friday.  Today Atlanta PD is given a little inside as to what happened that sad day.

According to a recent report released by the Atlanta Police Department, Rich Homie Quan was reportedly unresponsive for a longer period of time than initially believed based on accounts by his brother and girlfriend. His brother told police that when he came home around 3 a.m., he saw Rich Homie Quan asleep on the kitchen floor with food in his mouth. Though he said it was unusual, “he lifted him up and put him on the sofa.”   Then, at 6:45 a.m., his girlfriend woke up to get the children ready for school. She saw Rich Homie Quan on the couch sleeping, but she decided to put a blanket over him and proceeded to take the kids to school. When she got back, she went right back to sleep and didn’t awake again until 11 a.m. When she went back downstairs and saw him in the same position, she checked on him and realized his body was cold, and he wasn’t breathing, then she called 911.

At this time there is still no official cause of death of Rich Homie Quan, but investigators do not suspect foul play.
