Dog Sitter Fatally Shoot Couples Dog While They Were on Vacation [VIDEO]

Back in the day people that owned dogs kept them outside, tied up in the backyard and instead of going to the vet when sick, dogs just ate some grass.  Now days peoples dogs are family members that live in the house, go to doggy parks and are welcomes in a lot of public restaurants, some even go to doggy daycare.  When people go on vacation if their dog doesn’t go they the pay for boarding or for someone to take care of their furry loved one, hoping they don’t get sick while they are gone.  

With that being said, can you imagine how one would feel if they go a phone call, while on vacation, that their dog was dead and worse the dog sitter sot and killed him? A couple in New Jersey is living a pet owner’s worst nightmare after their dog sitter shot and killed their beloved pitbull.

Reportedly the couples vacation was interrupted by two calls from the sitter, the first claiming that their pitbull was being aggressive with another dog.  The couple said they would come back from vacation and get him, but the dog sitter said he crated the dog and everything was cool.

The second call shook the dog sitter, called to say he had shot and killed the dog, claiming their dog had attacked his pregnant wife.

‘I just put a buckshot in your dog’s head. He went after my pregnant wife, come get your (expletive) dead dog’s body off my property,'”

The couple contacted authorities who charged the dog sitter with one count of second-degree possession of a weapon and one count of third-degree animal cruelty.
