Detroit Judge Puts Teen In Cuffs And Prison Blues For Falling Asleep During Court Field Trip [VIDEO]

A teenager on a field trip to see a Detroit court ended up in jail clothes and handcuffs because a judge said he didn’t like her attitude.

Detroit Judge Kenneth King told a group of students on a field trip to his courtroom, that he was not a toy and is not to be played with.  So when one of the students fell asleep in his courtroom Judge King decided to give the student a ‘scared straight’ lesson, by placing the student in handcuffs and prison blues.

According to Judge Kenneth King:

“It was her whole attitude and her whole disposition that disturbed me,” “I wanted to get through to her, show how serious this is and how you are to conduct yourself inside of a courtroom.”
