Phoenix Mercury star Diana Taurasi has been catching heat with her thoughts on former Iowa women’s basketball star, Caitlin Clark. The number one pick of the Indiana Fever, Caitlyn Clark, averages 17 points, 5.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game through her first three stars for Indiana (0-3). However we all go through transitions and maturations that at times can be frustrating, and America’s gold girl savior of Women’s Basketball, Caitlyn Clark, has to walk these same walks whether we like it or not.
Cailin Clark got a welcome to the WNBA from referees when they hit her with a technical foul after Caitlin Clark launched a F-bomb at official’s late in the fourth quarter of Indiana’s match against Connecticut at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, because she believed she was illegally hit on an offensive possession just moments prior.
Caitlin Clark finished the night with 17 points and five assists, all in the final 10 minutes, while making 5-of-11 shots and three 3-pointers but unfortunately for Clark the Connecticut Sun went on to win 88-84 over the winless Fever.
