Rapper Magoo Has Passed Away Age 50

In the 90’s when we 1st heard Missy Elliott on the music scene she was was partners in Hip Hop crime with Timbaland and Magoo, with their smash hit “Up Jumps Da’ Boogie” that also featured Aaliyah.

Hip Hop fans often wondered, comedians made jokes about, what ever happened to Magoo?

Sad news broke and prayers are in order as Rapper Magoo has passed away at the young age of 5o.

The news was revealed by music producer Digital Black in an Instagram post, which featured the cover of Magoo and Timbaland’s 1997 album Welcome to Our World.

“Man can’t believe this RIH Magoo damn big bro wasnt ready for this at all #superfriends,”

Melvin Barcliff AKA Magoo and Timbaland were from Norfolk, Virginia who in 1989 formed the duo Timbaland & Magoo.   Magoo stepped away from the lime light because he felt being a celebrity wasn’t fun.

No cause of death is being given at this time.

We will be keeping the family, friends and colleagues of Magoo uplifted in our prayers.

Take a look at Timbaland’s video tribute to Magoo below.
