On Thursday 25 year old Carlee Russell called 911 in Alabama to report a toddler walking on the side of I-459 South. Carlee Russell. Carlee then pulled over to check on the toddler and called a family member. When police arrived at the scene they found Carlee Russell’s car, some of her belongings and her cell phone, but Carlee Russell and the toddler was no where to be found.
On Saturday at 10:45, police received a 911 call that Carlee Russell had returned home. Hoover Police and Medics responded to the 911 call, and transported Carlee Russell to a local hospital for evaluation.
Then on Sunday Social Media Sleuths, instead of praising God for Carlee Russell’s safe return, their speculations as to what really happened to Carlee Russell started making the rounds on social media.
Now Carlee Russell’s boyfriend, Thomar Simmons, is speaking out saying that she was definitely kidnapped.
“All I asked from everyone right now is to be respectful of Carlee’s situation. She was literally fighting for her life for 48 hours, so until she’s physically & mentally stable again she is not able to give any updates or whereabouts on her kidnapper at this very moment…I also want to thank the people on social media who has been understanding & respectful about what she’s been through in these past few days. Once again I can’t thank you guys enough for helping us bring Carlee home! God bless you all.”
